On October 25th, 7-9pm, our friends at Social Innovators Collective are giving a workshop on design for nonprofits. Here’s the description:
Rallying the public around a cause is no easy feat. To build an emotional connection with your audience, your brand needs a strong message, good design, and effective communication. Learn how to apply these tools to your enterprise and create a brand that raises money, sells products, breeds activists, and launches movements.
This session will focus on branding and communications. In order to raise money, sell products, breed activists, and launch movements, both social enterprises and nonprofits need a strong message, good design, and effective communication.
Format: Each class will have a 45-60 minute presentation which will be followed by a short break, an interactive exercise and finally Q&A. Networking from 9-10pm will follow.
